     Pharmacy Tech

     

    We are currently accepting resumes for Pharmacy Tech at Mountain Home MTF, ID, in anticipation of an upcoming government contract award. 

    Work at a great location with military trained support staff.

     

    Position Details:

    Monday- Friday between the hours of 0730-1600

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities and Duties:

     

    o Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
    o Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient
    prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
    o Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill
    prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician’s requests,
    o monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
    o Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage
    o inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload
    o reports and documentation.
    o Perform supply process duties including placing new orders, stocking/
    o restocking shelves, inventory maintenance, producing not in stock reports.

    Qualifications

    Must have:

    • Pharmacy Technician. The contractor shall provide pharmacy
      technicians that are certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification
       Board (PTCB) as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) acceptable
       to the Surgeon General of the Army or a Department of Defense (DOD)
         pharmacy technician-training program.
    • Certified by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
    • One year of experience as a full-time pharmacy technician within the last 36 months.
    • Basic Life Support
