    Position description:


    • 0700-1600 or 0730-1630 Monday – Friday
    • Full time, 40 hours, no on-call
    • Unburdened Clinical practice
    • Admissions covered by Hospitalist

    Be capable of adequately diagnosing and treating a wide-range of pediatric and adult acute and chronic diseases and injuries including but not limited to conditions of the:
    • Skin
    • Head
    • Eyes

    • Pulmonary System
    • Gastrointestinal System
    • Musculoskeletal System
    • Genitourinary System
    • Reproductive System

    • Psychiatric and Behavioral Health




    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)
    • Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
    • This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges; Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) at the time the degree was obtained (e.g. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
    • A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must provide education and medical knowledge substantially equivalent to accredited schools in the United States.  Evidence of equivalency to accredited schools in the United States is demonstrated by permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, a fifth pathway certificate for Americans who completed premedical education in the United States and graduate education in a foreign country, or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
    • Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support
    • As required to meet three years of experience of clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions. This is interpreted to include three years of family medicine residency to qualify new graduates.
    • Board eligible or board certified.
    • Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
