    Are you an experienced Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist ? Would you like an opportunity to give back to our men and women in uniform?

    We are currently accepting resumes for chiropractic assistants  to provide services at Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Training (SMART)  at Naval Branch Health Clinic (NBHC), Naval Aviation Technical Training Center (NATTC) Naval Hospital Pensacola, FL

     

    7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday

    No Federal Holidays

    Responsibilities

    Provide treatment for soft tissue damage, acute and chronic edema, post-surgical edema, muscle atrophy, pain, overuse injuries, decreased circulation and loss of strength due to injury or biomechanical imbalance.

    Provide emergency first aid, evaluation and treatment of injuries, and aid in preliminary diagnosis to include recognition of severity of injury, rendering initial treatment and performing initial examination.

    Prevent, recognize, treat and rehabilitate injuries.

    Design and fabricate protective pads, equipment and braces for the prevention and treatment of injuries including the use of proper taping techniques.

    Qualifications

    • Shall possess a Bachelors Degree in an accredited exercise science health science, or physical education-related discipline

    • Shall maintain and possess curernt certifications by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Shall have a current certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resucitation (CPR) to include Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training.
    • Minimum of 5 years experience working with elite level athletes within the SOF commuity, (NCAA), or professional sporting ranks
    • Basic Life Support
