    We are accepting resumes for a Registered Nurse Pain Management Clinic to work at Wright Patterson AFB in anticipation of a future Government Contract award.

     

    • Full time: Day Hours
    • 0715—1615 hrs Monday – Friday
    • No Federal Holidays

    Responsibilities

    Knowledge of a variety of pharmacological agents used in patient treatment, the desired effects, side effects, and complications of their use as well as the accurate administration of the pharmacologic agent, including dosage calculations as required. Knowledge of the administrative requirements for proper documentation of patient conditions including disease progress, acknowledgement of teaching, and follow up care.

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors of Science in Nursing

    • Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

    • Clinical competency within the past two years 
    • Registered Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) Pain Management is highly desired.
    • Pain management Clinical Nurse shall meet all licensing/certification requirements to perform as a Pain Management Nurse
    • Minimum of 2 years professional experience from an accredited Nursing Program and a license in good standing. License cannot be under investigation nor have any adverse action pending from a Nursing State Board or national licensing/certification agency.
    • Experience as a Pain Management Nurse for at least 12 months is preferred, which can include having worked full or part time.
    • Knowledge of pain procedures and education methods.
    • Registered Nurse and in addition: License cannot be under investigation nor have any adverse action pending from a Nursing State Board or national licensing/certification agency.
    • Certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing or Medical Surgical Nursing is desirable
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health-care Providers
