    Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Travis Air Force Base, California

     

    Practice independently at David Grant Medical Center (DGMC), Teaching Hospital in the following areas:

    • Traditional hospital surgical suites
    • Obstetrical delivery rooms
    • Ambulatory surgical procedures

    Full time civilian opportunity to 

    • Provide Anesthesia services in outpatient & inpatient settings to include:
      • Obstetric, ER, Cath Lab, general inpatient & specialty outpatient surgical procedures

    Typical Schedule:

    • Flexible schedule:
      • 10, 14 or 24 hour shifts
      • Not to exceed 50 hour per week
    • On-Call Schedule
      • 14 up to 24 hour
      • Up to 6 per month

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Anesthesia services in outpatient & inpatient settings to include:
      • Obstetric, ER, Cath Lab, general inpatient & specialty outpatient surgical procedures
    • Assist with the training of staff personnel and students/residents as needed
    • Attend and participate in professional staff conferences and other appropriate professional activities
    • Patient care chart audits and Quality Improvement meetings & trainings

    Qualifications

     

    • Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
      (NBCRNA)
    • Have at least 12 months of experience within the last 24 months in the delivery all types of anesthesia utilized in the delivery of obstetrical anesthesia (general endotracheal, subarachnoid block and epidural)
    • Current, full, active, and unrestricted CRNA license from any US jurisdiction
    • Possess BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
