    Registered Nurse Behavioral Health Care Facilitator


    We are accepting resumes for a Registered Nurse Behavioral Health Care Facilitator to work at Patrick AFB in anticipation of a future Government Contract award.


    Monday-Friday 7am-5pm


    • Full time: Day Hours
    • Monday - Friday 40 hours per week
    • No nights, weekends or Federal Holidays

    • A working knowledge of mental health levels of care to include post-hospital and acute care illness stabilization.  Ability to anticipate and articulate to health management, and/or interdisciplinary team members, the patient’s needs requirements, abilities and limitations.
    • A working knowledge of mental health, human growth and development, and pathophysiology of disease processes.
    • Knowledge of psychopharmacological agents used in patient treatment, knowledge of desired affects, side affects and complications for their use, as well as accurate administration of the psychopharmacologic agents. 
    • Possess skill and tact in communicating with people who may be physically or mentally ill, uncooperative, fearful, emotionally distraught, and occasionally dangerous.





    • Associates Degree of Nursing.
    • Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting
      Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
    • Attend and successful complete a 5-day DoD/AF BHCF training course may be required; specific travel information will be defined during the ordering process. The ability to successfully complete orientation, AHLTA training and pass core competencies of BHCF training must all be demonstrated after completion of the training course or within 90 calendar
    • Must be certified/certification eligible by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse. 

    • One year of experience in Mental Health Setting
    • DEA registration number
    • Current, valid license from any US jurisdiction
    • Basic Life Certification (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA)
