    Physician Recruiter

    Giacare, a leader in healthcare government staffing, is looking for a dynamic recruiter to join an established team of healthcare recruiters and staffing professionals in San Antonio, TX.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the recruitment and placement of physicians. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills are required. This is a highly interactive position that requires the ability to work independently in a time sensitive environment. The successful candidate must be organized and capable of juggling multiple priorities at once while maintaining a focus on quality results.

    Responsibilities

    • Source and interview healthcare professionals
    • Proactively source candidates to create a pipeline for future openings
    • Qualify and credential candidates against client requirements
    • Conduct market research to assist with workforce planning and strategy.
    • Utilize job boards, networking, direct recruitment, social media and other advanced recruitment methodologies to identify talented candidates.

     

     

    Qualifications

        • 3+ years’ experience in healthcare recruitment and staffing - particularly Physician recruiting
        • 3+ years’ experience developing recruiting strategies including use of the Internet, cold calling, competitive recruiting, social media, and networking
        • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
        • Strong interviewing and probing skills with emphasis on behavioral/performance indicators
        • Knowledge of federal and state employment law
        • Ability to maintain and utilize a recruiting database for sourcing and hiring of candidate
        • Must have excellent written and oral communication skill
        • Must be organized and able to change tasks throughout the day
        • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
        • Intermediate level of Microsoft Office knowledge (advanced knowledge of MS Excel is preferred
        • Strong follow-up, time management and organizational skill
        • Flexible thinker with problem solving skill
        • Ability to deliver clear and comprehensive instructions, verbal or written
        • Experience with databases or staffing systems is required
