    If you are seeking a dynamic position, then we have the opportunity for you!  Giacare is accepting resume submissions for a self-motivated Government Contract Bid Manager who is familiar with government procurement process.  You will be involved in marketing, capture and proposal management, as well as contract administration.  Giacare manages multiple Department of Defense health care contracts in 19 states and needs an experienced business development professional to grow with our company!     Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Business Development & Marketing:  Including identifying and qualifying opportunities in the Federal Government marketplace as well as maintain marketing literature and conducting competitor and salary research.
    • Capture & Proposal Management:  including leading proposal and task order responses and ensuring responses are 100% compliant with customer requirements.
    • Contract Administration: including collaborating with Operations on ensuring contract compliance and subcontracting is conducted in manner consistent with all applicable laws, regulations and contract terms.
    • Project Management:  includingexecuting ad hoc projects for business development that support company initiatives and proposals.


    Must have:

    • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field
    • 2-4 years of experience in sales or marketing with specific emphasis on proposal management
    • Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication
    • Exceptional organization skills and a strong attention to detail
    • Ability for limited travel


    Prefer to have:

    • 3 years of experience in government contracting ( healthcare experience preferred )
